A hybrid battery rebuild starts with measuring capacity, resistance and voltage — in the car or on the bench. We do not clear a Check Hybrid System message or code P0A80 on a Prius, Auris, Yaris or Lexus just to try: a cleared warning does not repair the cells. An NiMH rebuild is a multi-cycle charge and discharge. A weak module is replaced on its own, then we clean the battery cooling.
